Meet Palma
My connection to Reiki began personally, long before I ever thought about offering it to others. I was drawn to the sense of calm and stillness I experienced through Reiki, and over time I wanted to understand the practice more deeply. I continued my training through each level and became a Reiki Master in the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing.
Open Palm Healing grew from my desire to create the kind of space I value myself—somewhere you can slow down, step away from everything being asked of you, and simply have time for yourself.
Outside of Reiki, I have spent more than two decades working with people in education and service-oriented environments. I have also continued my own education throughout my adult life, earning a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees. Those experiences may seem very different from Reiki, but to me there is a common thread: listening, helping people navigate what is in front of them, and treating each person as an individual.
That carries into the way I practice Reiki. I don't believe there is a “right” way to experience a session, and I don't want anyone to feel that they are supposed to feel or experience something particular. My role is simply to meet you where you are and offer Reiki with care, intention, and respect.
Whether you are completely new to Reiki or already familiar with the practice, you are welcome exactly as you are.
